“Fully satisfactory. The dentist is obviously caring and gives good advice.”
Dr Singh is the Principal Dentist at Wash Common Dental Practice and has been caring for patients in the local community since 2007. With more than 25 years of experience, he is known for his gentle approach, attention to detail, and commitment to providing the best possible care for every patient.
Dr Singh trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Dental School in London and completed his NHS Vocational Training, allowing him to work in both NHS practices and hospital settings. After graduating, he worked as a Senior House Officer at St George’s Hospital and The Royal London Hospital, where he also enjoyed training and supporting other dentists. He continues to run lectures and is always happy to share advice with colleagues, reflecting his passion for dentistry and lifelong learning.
Dr Singh has a special interest in dental implants and completed an intensive, full-time three-year programme in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry. He has been placing implants for over 20 years and has helped thousands of patients restore their smiles and confidence.
His experience includes everything from replacing a single missing tooth, such as a front tooth lost after an accident, to full-mouth implant treatment for patients who have worn dentures for many years. Dr Singh uses proven, gold-standard techniques to ensure results that look natural and feel comfortable.
Root Canal & Tooth-Saving Treatments
Dr Singh strongly believes in saving natural teeth whenever possible. To support this, he completed three years of Advanced Training in Endodontics and now provides root canal and surgical treatments.
This means that teeth with long-standing pain or infection can often be treated rather than removed. Many patients are relieved to discover that a tooth they thought was beyond saving can, in fact, be preserved.
Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry
To help patients with more complex dental needs, Dr Singh completed a four-year Postgraduate Degree in Advanced Prosthodontics at King’s College London. This allows him to offer advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments such as:
Each treatment plan is carefully tailored to suit the patient’s goals, comfort, and long-term oral health.
Gum Health & Periodontal Care
Dr Singh has also completed a Certificate in Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Hospital. This enables him to diagnose and treat gum disease and bone loss around the teeth.
By addressing gum problems early and thoroughly, he helps patients maintain healthy gums, support their teeth, and reduce the risk of future tooth loss.
Jaw Pain, Grinding & Tooth Wear
Over the years, Dr Singh has helped many patients struggling with jaw joint pain (TMJ issues), tooth grinding or clenching, and severe tooth wear.
He offers personalised solutions such as custom night guards, bite adjustments, and advanced restorative techniques to protect teeth, relieve discomfort, and restore function.
Dr Singh’s broad training means many complex treatments can be carried out comfortably in one place. Above all, he takes time to listen, explain options clearly, and make sure every patient feels relaxed, informed, and confident in their care.
