Lockdown Closure 5 Jan 2021

News Update, 5th January 2021.

The Prime Minister has put the country into nation lockdown following the worrying increase of positive Coronavirus cases.

As a result of this we have now taken the difficult decision to close the practice to all but emergency patients.

We know that this will cause some people to become anxious about outstanding treatment but please rest assured, no one will be left in pain and we will endeavour to meet all our patient’s emergency needs and the completion of any ongoing treatment. We will be operating our emergency appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 9am-10am.

What to do if you have a dental emergency during 9 am to 5 pm.

  • Step 1. Call the Wash Common Dental Practice emergency number between 9 am to 5pm and you will be advised on how to proceed.
  • Step 2. If you require dental treatment involving an aerosol generating procedure we may ask you to get a Free NHS Coronavirus test. This can be arranged by clicking on the link and completing the form. More information here.
  • Step 3. Once you have the result of the Coronavirus test,  email it to reception@washdental.co.uk and an appointment will be arranged for you.

We know closing the practice causes disruption to scheduled appointments and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may bring, but our main focus is the safety of you and your family along with the staff at Wash Common.

As this is a fast-changing situation, we will review it on a weekly basis and if circumstances allow, we may open before February.

Best wishes,
Dr Seepaul Singh.
Principal Dentist
